    Jake Cooper – Fitness Director

    Jake Cooper became the Fitness Director at the CRC in August of 2007, after serving 6 years as the Fitness Director at another local club. Jake has been a certified personal trainer through NFPT (National Federation of Professional trainers) since 1988. He graduated from John Carroll University with a BA in Physical education and concentrates in Athletic Training, Fitness and Nutrition. Jake has also been a Varsity Boy’s Soccer Coach in the area for the last 12 years. He just recently earned his National “C” license through the United States Soccer Federation. Since joining the CRC, Jake has worked with many of our tennis players, helping them bring their tennis game to the next level.

    Liz Martin – Certified Personal Trainer

    Liz graduated from Baldwin Wallace College with a BA. Liz has been teaching and training in fitness for over 30 years. Besides the certifications listed, she continues to seek new education and update her training in all fields of fitness and health. As a trainer, Liz seeks to educate her student/client and teach them how to exercise more efficiently so they understand the “quality” of the movement. Her emphasis is on functional movement, CORE strength and balance while strengthening the rest of the body. Her goal as a trainer is not just to take the client through an exercise program but to change the way they move everyday!

    Mike Hietanen BS, CSCS - Certified Personal Trainer

    Mike has been a fitness trainer for 18 years and collectively, a part of the CRC Fitness Staff for 15 years. He has held a certification with the National Strength and Conditioning Association since 2005. As of this year, he has gained certification as a TRX suspension instructor. Mike has also been certified by the American Council on Exercise and the American Association of Physical Education, Health, Recreation and Dance. Mike has trained in one–on–one, group, sports specific and special population settings (post physical therapy, Parkinson’s disease).
